My name is Travis Bradley and I'm a singer-songwriter from the Tulsa, Oklahoma area & I have an exciting project to tell you about! My Brother, Sister, and I were influenced by music from a young age. When we were kids, we found ourselves living in Fairbanks, Alaska with our father, Rocky Bradley. He was a musician and along with our Uncle Gary Bradley had a country band called "The Rinky Dinks". Willie Nelson, Waylon Jennings, and Johnny Cash were among some of the artists we covered. My older Brother Shawn Bradley at age 14 was a guitar player in the band, along with myself on the drums at age 10. Our Sister Jennifer Bradley at age 8 occasionally joined our dad on stage to sing a song or two. Silver Wings by Merle Haggard was her favorite. The most exciting time of the year for us to play was a New Year's Eve celebration at a natural hot springs resort in Circle, Alaska. We played our last New Year's Eve celebration in 1987 and a few days later our dad passed away in an accident at the age of only 33. After our father’s passing my brother, sister, and I moved to Tulsa, Oklahoma to live with our Mom Vicki Dillon. In our teen years my brother and I had garage bands rocking out to Led Zeppelin, Motley Crue, and other rock bands. My Sister wanted to learn an instrument and she began to play bass guitar. My Brother showed her a few things and the rest was up to her. Today, she is an accomplished musician and songwriter, and she is the bass player in a Texas blues band. My Brother, also a Texas resident, has a music degree and continues to play piano, electric guitar and bass guitar, particularly at church. The drums were my first instrument, but my passion is playing the acoustic guitar and singing. I've written some songs in the past few years and soon I'm going into the studio with my siblings to record an album. "The Rocky Project" set for a July 2024 release is a blending of our musical influences, the gifts God has blessed us with, and our tribute to Dad.
